Cleaning The pipes (TMI)

Firstly, big-ups to Shanda and Crystal {[Rustic Chick Moms on a lifetime mission]} and Secondly, until pics and graffiti font are added, this post is still in production.

My period started the day my toddlers donor called.

Yesterday was the first time I've heard his voice in.... ALMOST a year, (give or take 2months, 3weeks and 4days.. His inquiries can be summed into the parts he desires to be, where he is with his two other children and where he's just weird to me and why we never 'formally' dated (then again I'm more for informalities with pleasantries anyway)

When you're a parent, or play an active role in childs life (minimum of 10 hours a week) {[OMG, just realized I average 20 hours a day with my toddler]} you question the child more, and yourself less.

Here is a list of questions my toddler-girl's donor asked me to answer for him and here are the categories.

Father questions:

Daddy questions:

Donor questions: "Can I speak to her?" {(sure.. Call more, vist period)}

After yesterday's emotional slap, and today's ground floor revisitation, I'm re-re-evaluating yet more decisions in my life.  After I took the assessment and then began the web search, I got caught in yet another tug-of-war between job applications.  It took me nearly 5 hours to shrug off the destruction grabbers.  {So who TRULY won THAT war?  ... some might argue, the distraction}

Toddler Hair Winter Care

Winter begins December 21st.
In preparation for a new season of hair care, I've packed up half the shampoos, and am stocking up on shower caps for moisture rich days, and satin scraps for the chill claws of the season.

I've successfully completed Toddler-Girls's first Hot Oil treatment last night and recognize child protective services has enough photographic evidence of my wrapping this little girls hair up in a plastic bag to red flag me.. SO.. Plastic caps (although not as cost effective for units of all races w/o altered hair structure) is going to be added to my Natural Young Thangz Winter Regime.

I kept the bag wrapped and tucked with a child-sized full headband securing it away from her crown allowing the oils to drip down.

It's her and me and I have to find the balance of occupying Toddler Girl's attention while sectioning and detangiling her hair for d.S twists and occasional twisted rows and bantu knots.
She's begun imaginative play, curtsey's well, and counts beautifully.

I've paused to question myself, tripped over grass, and Ms. Cabrera summed up my year as a tragic airplane crash.

* * *

As of Feb 13th, I was able to give my 2yr a full head {8 in all} of bantu knots.

And although the picture above has to be altered for her actual rear-of-head-photo, this picture was far closer {my toddler girls hair is much thicker} in comparison to what I did as opposed to a lot of the wrong I saw going on in the web with the same search "toddler bantu knot"..

If you want bangs, don't pull the hair follicle to the back with such visible tension.  If you want to stretch the hair, don't double up on the braids and then twist.  It just causes more tension {stress} on your tresses.

how NOT to bantu:: Traditionally bantu knots are meant to be worn in sections that your natural hair grown from the scalp is attempting to curl form to.  Essentially, "which way do you want your hair to grow?  Moisturize it, seal the moisture, then detangle from the root in the direction you want your hair to ultimately lay, twist from root, spiral the twist to the tip of your hair and then wrap that cord round and round the base of the root until the grandfather tips of your {or your sitter's} hair may be tucked {or wrapped} under.

And attempt to avoid as much cotton {moisture absorption hair tools} as possible especially on the tips of your hair which need the most moisture for visible length retention.

"Project O"

I'm in Jamaica and the white and tan umbrella is standing strong against the heat.

With the aided support of an olive panted hardwood picnic table, and a bottle of water that had been completely frozen between the zigzagging through the garden from our shared double bedroom to the look out deck, but had somehow melted to half hits frozen content once we'd unloaded our pair of books, my laptop, phone and payday, his ray bans, the cabin keys, a magnum tonic wine this monday afternoon {With Iron and Vitamins} and cast away burdens, thankful.

The last 3 days have been the equivalent of a train ride and I have a small collection of days yet to go as MyMor and I had used 10 of those collective hours arriving at our nestled oasis.

We spent another half hour traveling to the blue hole in Brighton located in Jamaica's westmoreland parish.

{not counting the stop we made for patties-which to me, does NOT count, because I've not yet obtained my Jamaican Beef pat tie w/coca bread}.  MyMor picked up 2 Chicken Patties one with cocoa bread and his without, and 2 ackee  and salt fish patties which looked like cocabread and completely legitimizes why I was eating it AND Morgan's chicken patty at the same time

{{IT WAS NOT A CONSPIRACY TO EAT BOTH CHICKEN}}

what began as a poolside relaxation-swaying with a redstripe, gently lulled in the hammock by the breeze of the wind and reggae music..

MyMor jumped first
I had every intention of handing off the camera, stripping down and jumping next..

Sanity clutched me a bit though and then escaped me as I considered jumping from the tree because, hey, Im still gonna drop.

the drop had to be done

and once it was, the natural spring

the botanical treatment from the natural elements of conch sand and attractive feeder fish, out dash most salons

{Ugggh, I've failed to mention 2 eating locals, and to update my trip advisory [Eek or leave feedback for my stay with Sue, I hope she'll be ok with the rain check]}

And we need take into account our departure flight is at 7:35 on a Sunday morning...

So no sleep Saturday Night..

Motivational Pressure Cooker

I've finally accumulated enough piles of uncategorized information to organize my previous
"hack & saw"
method of design

"the hiccup came from the division of focus of characters from multi-blends and time-lines.."

..on my career path, another concept rooted and watered..

Elements must see the young adults from one side of the world to uproot another, forming their own bridge of peace, one sacrifice at a time.

The latest project is now the re-grooming of a TV classic "Good-Times."  I've finally seen 3 episodes of the 70's classic and am now on the recon team to gather the intel on past writers, actors and present Urban dilemma, fashion and entertainment.

The question now is How to pull back my focus prior to my exit.

what to do in recompense?  ... Update my blogs.

Dream Spaces to Creative Places

In my lapse to update my Springboard Blog 'Foundation to Creation', I'm updating my perspective on 'labels'.

I guess I've stayed away from them so well that I've just pushed them away from aiding in my every-day, day-to-day's.   Now that I'm out of the clique mindset, and more intah the "I'm a mamma and its too late to put 'it' back".. I've since re-viewed life-time savings {money & quality Time} homemade cleaners happen to be one of those money savers.

Because lets face it...
Ultimate DREAM spaces..
